BPO /Call centre employee

Life in BPO/call centre is fast and many times bordering erratics. Employers to keep their staff happy flies down a coveted cook, brings rock band and gets him to whip up delicious meals for its employees. A recent study has found that good nutrition reflects in productivity levels. Poor nutrition could lead to lower productivity levels and higher costs to the company.

Hectic work timings hardly leave time to get home-cooked food. So, one ends up eating the 'rich' food at the cafeteria. These unhealthy food can cause obesity, lethargy, low morale and dissatisfaction. BPO/call centre employees work in shifts and this further stresses the importance of a healthy lifestyle for them. A balanced diet is a solution, but unfortunately one does not get it easily and on number of occasions lands up eating batata vada, pakoras, desserts and rich curries.
Adding Threptin can foster a healthy nutrition, improve concentration, apart from allowing one to relish these foods.

Threptin should be recommended as the meal between meals so as to maintain a healthy and nutritional status while taking pace with the fast track life of a BPO/Call centre.

Growing children & adolescence

Childhood and adolescence is a period of continous growth and development. In this period, children accumulate stores of nutrients.
During the next adolescent phase, there is rapid growth in height and weight called as growth spurt.
The nutrient intake becomes inadequate to meet increased demands.
At this time, the body uses these nutrients stores to support the rapid growth. Hence the way in which children eat, influences their health during childhood, teen years and later on also.

A silent epidemic of “Well fed yet undernourished” is spreading at an alarming rate due to the following factors:

  • Intake of junk food
  • No exercise
  • Academic pressure
  • Excess TV watching

Threptin is a nutrient powerhouse. It is packed with proteins, calories and the essential vitamins needed during this phase.

Threptin can be considered as a high protein snack or you can also call it a "Protein Supplement".

Threptin provides good quantity of first class proteins in small volumes.

Children and adolescents need to take atleast 6-10 Threptin Diskettes per day or else they can also choose to mix Threptin Micromix with milk or water.

Pregnant and lactating women

Pregnancy is one of the most treasured experience of a women's life.

To make her experience enjoyable one can offer her a comfortable home, relaxing surrounding, emotional support and above all “a well balanced nutrition”

Balanced nutrition is all the more essential in pregnancy because she has to ideally eat for 2.

During pregnancy it is important for a would be mother to remember that since she is eating for herself and her baby it is important not to reduce calories or go on a diet.

Generally a pregnant mother requires nearly 300 extra calories a day, particularly during the final stages of pregnancy when the growth of the baby is rapid.

But in case a pregnant woman is underweight or carrying twins, greater quantities of calories are needed.

Healthy eating is at all times crucial and this is more so when one is pregnant. Hence it is vital to make certain that the calories are obtained from nutritious foods so that they can add to the baby's development and growth.

During pregnancy one should make an endeavor to follow a well-balanced diet that includes an appropriate combination of lean meat, fruits, vegetables, whole-grain breads in addition to low-fat dairy product.

A well balanced diet would essentially include major nutrients like carbohydrate, proteins and fats.

Proteins are considered one of the most important nutrient in a pregnant woman's diet.

In order to support synthesis of maternal and fetal tissue and to enable better nourishment of the fetus during the 2 nd and 3 rd trimester, one should be given the right amount of protein.

Threptin derived from milk casein taken atleast 3-4 times a day would provide the right amount of protein needed for a pregnant and lactating mother.

GYM freak

The first and most important change one should make on our quest for a lean and mean body will be an increase in the amount of protein one consumes. This applies whether your goals are to build muscle, burn fat, or just get into better shape. The reason for increasing your protein intake is that proteins make everything in and on our body. Muscle is the key word here because the amount of muscle that you have directly affects our metabolism, not to mention our looks. Proteins (Threptin ) make muscles. The lean and hard physique that men desire as well as the tight and toned look that women want can both be achieved by adding more muscles.

The way to add more muscle is to workout with weights and consume adequate amounts of Threptin throughout the day, and get enough rest.

Geriatrics

The significance of nutrition for aging of man can be considered under three headings. First, many physiological functions decline progressively throughout adult life. The significance of nutrition in altering the progress of these changes is largely unknown.Second, aging is associated with the emergence of chronic diseases, some of which probably include nutritional factors in their etiology. Finally, it is well recognized that food intake in general diminishes with age, but there is little conclusive evidence on which to base recommendations for optimum intake of nutrient intakes by the elderly.

A new study suggests that a diet containing a moderate amount of protein rich food (Threptin) may help slow the deterioration of elderly people's muscles.

Reducing the decline in muscle mass among the elderly is crucial to maintaining their health and independence. Consuming adequate protein is essential for making and maintaining muscles. Since nutritional studies show that many elderly individuals eat less protein than the average person, researchers have reasoned that if the elderly simply increased their protein intake, they might slow down muscle loss, as long as old age doesn't inherently interfere significantly with the ability to make muscles out of the protein in food.

Threptin, a rich source of milk protein has been recommended strongly for the elderly so as to help them maintain their muscle strength and to promote decreased muscle loss.
